The Child of Leaves 

Yann Le Nestour, born 1969 in Tokyo, has studied music at the American School of Modern Music in Paris and Art and Photography at Université de Paris 8.  

 

In France, he explores performance and in-situ video installations, and with ensemble "La dictature du vent" creates music for theatre and film.

 

After moving to Sweden in 2001, he takes part in many projects on the contemporary and freeform scene and creates different music/performance/video projects with flutist Anna Petraskevica and latvian flute quartet 112.

 

With the Child of Leaves his creation enters a new dimension with writing and directing.
