Eva  was born in Stockholm in 1939.

At the age of 19 she moves to Paris where she graduates master studies in theatre and art.

She works at the Theatre Monparnasse - Lars Schmidt , for Nordiska Teaterforlaget

and Sandrews Film och Teater AB before moving to Japan in 1967.

Back in Paris in 1972 she starts to work with puppets and masks. She experiments with various kinds of puppets and masks, creating very big puppets or using kitchen tools and rice paper lamps. Her work is often part of a social engagement, performing in the streets in interaction with kids or adults or at children's hospital. She often finds inspiration for her plays in mythology and traditional tales from Sweden, Japan, Brittany or Finland (Kalevala).
