Pelle Halvarsson is a swedish cellist and composer who has worked at many of the main  swedish theaters. He has, since graduation from Malmö School of Music 1989, made music to more than 30 stageproductions. 

Along side with the theaterscene Pelles work has been concentrated on earlymusic with the baroqueensemble Flatterie. Flatterie was founded by Pelle and 3 collegues 1986 and they have been on tour in England, Germany and all over Sweden since then. Contemporary music has also been a natural part of Pelles musical life. He is one of the two founders of The Great Learning Orchestra, an organization more than an orchestra, which has performed contemporaryclassics and brand new material for more than 10 years. TGLO has worked together with G Bryars, A Dreyblatt and T Riley, to mention a few. Pelle is also playing together with Yann and Lisa in PhylnluQ, an ensemble performing contemporary notated music for improvising musicians/composers.

Pelles cello-, theremin-, percussion and trumpetplaying is saved for coming generations on more than 30 CD-productions.
